In this post, I will share some tips on getting AdSense approval. Most of the tips discussed below will be helpful mainly for Bloggers. I hope you’ll get approved by AdSense by reading and applying this in your blog.
Tips for How to Get Google AdSense Approval
Google doesn’t reveal any clues or hints on what basis they approve new accounts. What you can do is to maintain some standards in your blog before applying for Adsense. Also, consider the following tips as a Google AdSense Approval Checklist.
Get a Top Level Domain
It is one of the most important tips to get approval from AdSense. Earlier people would get AdSense account with free sub-domains sites like Blogspot, Weebly, etc. Google still approves sub domains site, but you have to make sure that your site has good content, nice design, easy navigation, etc. The problem is that it’s really tough to make the free subdomain sites to AdSense Standard. Google has already banned some subdomains sites like .co.cc, .co.nr. etc.
So what I suggest is to get a top-level domain .com, .net, .org, .in, .com.bd etc are the top-level domains. Here is an example to understand the difference.
- Free Subdomain – earningtip.blogspot.com
- Top-Level Domain – earningtip.com
- Go get a domain name from Godaddy.
Important points to consider before buying a domain name. Don’t use the words like crack, hack, downloads, etc on the domain name which you are buying.
- Avoid domain names with copyright. (We cannot use others copyright Brand Name on the domain).
- Don’t try to use any adult term.
Good Design and Easy Navigation
Good content in your site doesn’t guarantee AdSense approval unless you’ve good design and easy navigation on your site.
If you are making the blog mainly to make money from Google AdSense, then you should invest some money on-site design purposes. WordPress user tries Premium Themes. If your budget is low, you can grab a free theme from google.
So make sure that your site has a professional-looking design with good navigation. Also, create a logo for your blog for a professional touch.
Submit Site on Search Engines
Whenever you launch a site, the main thing to consider is that people can discover your site easily. Search Engines are the place where people find your site easily. For easy discovery in search engines,
All you need to do is to submit your sitemap on search engines.
After submission makes sure that Google has indexed your site’s pages. Type site:yourdomain.com in Google Search and check whether Google indexes your site in the list or not. Sometimes it will take one week or more to index the site. If you’ve some relevant backlinks, your pages will be indexed fast. Interlinking blog posts inside the site also helps Search Engine Bots to index your pages faster.
Connect Your Site With Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
Google Analytics and Webmaster tools are the two best tools by Google.
Google Analytics provides detailed statistics about your site. And webmaster tools gives a detailed report on pages visibility of a site on Google.
These two tools help to improve your site performance and that ultimately increases the chance of getting Adsense account.
Publish Fresh, Unique and quality Contents
This is one of the most important parts of these points
You have to create fresh, unique and quality content on your site before you apply for Adsense. Adsense doesn’t require huge content, but what is actually required its quality content. Some bloggers got Adsense account with only 20-40 posts, while some others didn’t get approval with more than 90+ posts.
So quality contents matter a lot in the case of AdSense approval. Quality contents are those contents that are well-developed, unique, free from copyright contents and illegal download links, not copied from others, easily navigational, user-friendly and detailed research contents.
So try to publish some quality content on your website. Quality content is always the best and unique.
List of Adsense Prohibited Content:
- Adult content,
- Copyrighted contents,
- Hacking & Cracking related contents,
- Gambling/Casino/Alcohol contents, and
- all illegal contents are prohibited in AdSense.
Remove Other Networks Ads
When you are not approved for AdSense, you might have gone for some Adsense alternatives. It’s not a bad idea. But remove those Ads before applying for Adsense.
Though Google allows you to use another Ad Networks with Adsense, but it makes a bad impression to the Google Adsense team if your site is covered with other network ads.
Create Important Pages
Some pages provide a better user experience. And Google always focuses on better user experience. New bloggers don’t try to create pages in their blogs. Having some of these pages in your blog or site creates a good impression of the AdSense team. So, create the following pages before applying for Adsense.
- About – First-time visitors may want to know the person behind the screen. So its always good to show the about page on the site.
- Contact – Most of the newbie bloggers ignore these pages. But you will realize its importance once you have it. Because of the absence of these pages, you might have missed direct advertising.
Other Things to Consider
- If you’ve more than one site, then consider applying with the best site.
- Your content in the site should be written in English or other Adsense supported languages.
- You should give your actual information when you are applying for the AdSense account.
- Your age must be 18 years or above to participate in AdSense Program.
- Sometimes in some countries like China and India, Google requires 6 months older.
- Avoid Paid Traffic to your site. (Adsense doesn’t require a lot of traffic for approval)
- Don’t try to use a copyrighted image inside the blogs. Always use Images with Credits.
- Finally, Read Adsense Terms and Conditions & AdSense Programme Policies.
Once your site is compatible with all the above tips, then go for applying Adsense Account. The approval process may take 24 to 48 hours.
Once you’ve got Adsense account, you can use Adsense ads on other sites owned by you. That’s the reason why you might have noticed some low-quality sites with Adsense Ads. But that is not a good idea, always be sure that your site is compatible with Adsense policy before adding any Ads inside it. Adsense may ban your account if they find something wrong with there policy on your site.
So Best of Luck from my side. If you have done all the steps discussed above, your site will surely be approved for the Google AdSense account.
