Which Cryptocurrencies Have the Potential to Top 50?

From this perspective, only 6 cryptocurrencies outside the top 200 have potential to that will make it to top 50.

However, it is very possible that 2 of those 6 will fail or enact an exit scam. Still, some of them have tiny market caps of only $300k.

Also, these coins can lose 90% within a few months easily, as Relex and Payfair have done over the last couple of months. This could mean they are a good buy or not.

So, they are at high risk. You can therefore maybe put $200 into them, but more probably it’s not such a smart idea.

Compared to the rest, I see only APPC and POE as safe, but then they also have comparatively high market caps already.

Appcoins at rank 393 and market cap $7M

APPC is the best outside top 200 coins. This is one of the most serious cryptocurrencies that have the potential to top 50. They also launched their mainnet recently to their 200M users.

Today, the two players dominate the entire app store market: Google Play and the App Store. In the first three months of 2017 alone, consumers worldwide spent over $15 billion in iOS and Android stores.

In 2018, the mobile app economy will turn 10 at a valuation of nearly $77 billion, which is said to double by 2020. This duopoly of Google and Apple allows them to impose exorbitant fees on all purchases, app downloads, and in-app items alike.

AppCoins — powered by Aptoide — a $100M company and one of the largest Android app stores with a staggering 200+ million users that have downloaded over 4 billion apps and games already, want to use blockchain technology to disrupt this market, and solve the problems, like inefficiency and inaccessibility, that is troubling developers and users.

Conventional app stores are heavily centralized entities that face several problems, such as inefficient and costly advertising, inaccessibility of in-app purchases for the mass market, and a lack of transparencies and trust between developers and users. These are making innovation difficult.

GET protocol at rank 491 and $4.7M market cap

GET Protocol is a working ticketing protocol built on the Ethereum blockchain. This is another serious cryptocurrencies that have the potential to top 50. It has ticketed over 50,000 tickets in the Netherlands so far, using its application GUTS Tickets, it already has over 1 Million Tickets lined up to be sold on the protocol by the end of next year. Famous artists and comedians like Zaz, Jochem Myjer, Guus Meeuwis & Youp Van ‘t Hek on board, using the Ethereum mainnet in Q3 of this year.

Relex at rank 1390 and $319k market cap

Relex is the world’s first real estate development cryptocurrency, which already has multiple development projects running, such as Cocobay Danang and Marine City in Vietnam. This cryptocurrency has very strong partnerships for such a small market cap coin and is in a very large industry, real estate, where not many cryptocurrencies are yet, so there is a very good opportunity to make a mark as a first mover.

Wepower at rank 325 and $11M market cap

WePower is at the forefront of regenerative energy blockchain technology by building a transparent way to purchase, lend and produce green energy. There is not much blockchain technology in the energy space, only PowerLedger, Electrify. This is a very interesting space because electricity or energy contracts, which provide inflated prices, bad customer service and often environmentally unfriendly electricity. It can improve this with the blockchain.

Payfair at rank 1540 and a tiny $92k market cap

Payfair is a decentralized Escrow platform, which is necessary in the crypto world.

Poet at rank 221 and market cap $16M

Poet is a very interesting utility coin, allowing writers and authors to publish their books in a decentralized manner without being taken advantage of by the big publishers.
